Experience: Minimum 8 years in Freight Forwarding / BVOCC

Key Responsibilities
-
Communicate with clients/customers regarding cargo shipped via land, air, and sea freight.

Monitor daily shipments, resolving issues like lost shipments, SOB status, shipment tracking, container loading, and positioning.

Provide quotes to internal teams within 24 hours of request receipt.

Act as the first point of contact for customers via phone and email.
-
Liaise with major shipping lines and airlines to procure competitive rates for quoting customers.
-
Manage sourcing activities, demonstrating insight into supply markets.
-
Co-lead procurement and sourcing initiatives for trade lane development.
-
Coordinate with sales teams and other departments to drive business.

Ensure compliance with documentation procedures, from securing Shipping Instructions (S/I) to the final handover of the Bill of Lading (B/L).
