Job Description
As a Logistic Officer, you will play a key role in managing inbound and outbound logistics, adhering to industry standards, and ensuring efficient movement of goods. The role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution within a pharmaceutical or FMCG logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with CGMP and safety practices.

Negotiate pricing with service providers and explore alternate vendors.
-
Prepare and update SOPs and Work Instructions for logistics activities; train subordinates accordingly.

Source and coordinate with CHA for export/import documentation and customs clearance.

Ensure compliance with IATA and DGR requirements for handling dangerous goods.

Handle SAP operations and transport documentation (E-way bills, Delivery Challans, Form 7, etc.).

Source and negotiate with freight forwarders and airlines for cost-effective shipping rates.

Manage temperature-controlled shipments, especially between 2°C to 8°C.

Understand and implement taxations like DDU and DDP for CHA processes.

Stay informed on airline and country-specific variations per IATA guidelines.

Source trucking vendors for domestic routes from Gujarat and Andhra Pradesh to Mysore.

Be knowledgeable about ports and air/sea transportation requirements.
Candidate Requirements

Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Engineering / Logistics / SCM course

Experience: 3–5 years in inbound & outbound logistics or supply chain management

Preferred Industries: Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, Export
Work Mode: In-person (Mysuru, Karnataka)
Schedule: Day shift
