Position Overview
Role Description
The Fund Administration team at Deutsche Bank works with top names in the fund industry, handling end-to-end processes related to securities and portfolio/fund valuation for various client segments, including:
- Mutual Funds
- Alternative Investment Funds
- Portfolio Managers
The team utilizes one of the most advanced fund accounting platforms, offering a robust and flexible system to accommodate local regulations. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to diverse funds, including:
- Money Market
- Equity
- Arbitrage
- Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs)
- Hybrid Funds
The team of experts will guide and support your professional growth, ensuring your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- NAV Computation & Reconciliation – Checking income accruals, NAV movement, etc.
- Bank & Holding Reconciliations – Reviewing and resolving any breaks.
- Trade Processing & Verification – Ensuring all trades for the day are accurately processed in the system.
- Securities Valuation/Pricing – Handling valuation processes.
- Client Coordination – Liaising with clients for trade-related matters.
- Unit Capital File Processing – Coordinating with registrars, checking, and processing unit capital files.
- Monitoring Instructions – Processing trades and custody instructions received via email.
- Income Equalization & Surplus Computation – Managing income distribution calculations.
- NAV Dissemination – Ensuring timely reporting to press, registrars, and other stakeholders.
- Trial Balance Scrutiny – Conducting financial checks and reconciliations.
- Audit Coordination & Finalization – Supporting audit activities and closing financial statements.
Skills & Experience Required
- 3-4 years of experience in investment accounting or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of Mutual Fund Accounting & Operations.
- Understanding of Capital, Financial, and Derivative Markets.
- Proficiency in various valuation tools & methodologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
