Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Manual Cargo Tester with strong expertise in the Airline Cargo domain to join our team in Bangalore. The role requires in-depth testing experience, backend service testing, and a strong understanding of Agile scrum or SAFe methodologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
✅ Experience: 6-10 years in software testing
✅ Domain Expertise: Airline Cargo domain knowledge is a must
✅ Agile Methodologies: Prior experience in Agile scrum or SAFe
✅ Testing Tools: Microfocus ALM, JIRA, ReadyAPI, Enterprise Architect
✅ API Testing: Experience with ReadyAPI/Postman for backend service testing
✅ Technical Knowledge:

Microservices architecture & cloud database
-
CI/CD pipeline (GIT, etc.)
-
Defect management tools & processes
✅ Automation Experience (Nice to Have): Cypress, Selenium
Roles & Responsibilities
???? Test Planning & Execution:
-
Define functional & technical test approaches
-
Estimate the testing effort for user stories/backlogs
-
Design, develop, and review test models & test cases
-
Develop backend test suites using ReadyAPI for user story testing
-
Execute automated backend regression tests for releases
???? Collaboration & Agile Practices:
-
Work closely with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts

Analyze and log test results & defects
-
Actively participate in Sprint Planning, PI Planning, System Demos, and Retrospectives

Collaborate in defining Acceptance Criteria & Definition of Done (DoD)
???? Automation & Continuous Improvement:
-
Identify frontend regression test cases for automation

Assist in automating microservices tests
-
Guide developers & TA teams on automation strategy & implementation
