Job Description
We are seeking a Manual Cargo Tester with strong experience in software testing and domain expertise in the airline cargo sector. This role requires a collaborative individual who can work in Agile environments and contribute across the testing lifecycle.
Key Skillset
-
6–10 years of experience in software testing
-
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in the Airline Cargo domain
-
Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe
-
Strong understanding of application functionality and requirements
-
Tools proficiency: Microfocus ALM, JIRA, ReadyAPI, Enterprise Architect
-
Experience with backend service testing using ReadyAPI or Postman
-
Proficient in API debugging and root cause analysis
-
Understanding of microservice architecture and cloud databases
-
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GIT)
-
Familiarity with defect management processes and tools
-
Knowledge or experience with automation tools like Cypress, Selenium (nice to have)
Roles & Responsibilities
-
Define the functional and technical testing approach
-
Estimate scope and size of testing effort for each user story/product backlog
-
Analyze user stories and develop test models and test cases
-
Review test cases with BA/Product Owner
-
Develop backend test suites in ReadyAPI for user story testing
-
Identify regression cases and coordinate with the Test Automation (TA) team
-
Develop and maintain automated test suites for microservices
-
Execute backend regression suites for iteration and PROD releases
-
Log and manage defects, conduct retests
-
Collaborate closely with developers to improve testability

Participate throughout the sprint cycle and in Agile ceremonies:

PI Planning
-
Sprint Planning
-
Demos
-
Retrospectives
-

Assist in defining Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done (DoD)

Support the TA team in automating relevant test cases and analyzing automation results
