Job Description

We are seeking a Manual Cargo Tester with strong experience in software testing and domain expertise in the airline cargo sector. This role requires a collaborative individual who can work in Agile environments and contribute across the testing lifecycle.


Key Skillset

  • 6–10 years of experience in software testing

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in the Airline Cargo domain

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe

  • Strong understanding of application functionality and requirements

  • Tools proficiency: Microfocus ALM, JIRA, ReadyAPI, Enterprise Architect

  • Experience with backend service testing using ReadyAPI or Postman

  • Proficient in API debugging and root cause analysis

  • Understanding of microservice architecture and cloud databases

  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GIT)

  • Familiarity with defect management processes and tools

  • Knowledge or experience with automation tools like Cypress, Selenium (nice to have)


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Define the functional and technical testing approach

  • Estimate scope and size of testing effort for each user story/product backlog

  • Analyze user stories and develop test models and test cases

  • Review test cases with BA/Product Owner

  • Develop backend test suites in ReadyAPI for user story testing

  • Identify regression cases and coordinate with the Test Automation (TA) team

  • Develop and maintain automated test suites for microservices

  • Execute backend regression suites for iteration and PROD releases

  • Log and manage defects, conduct retests

  • Collaborate closely with developers to improve testability

  • Participate throughout the sprint cycle and in Agile ceremonies:

    • PI Planning

    • Sprint Planning

    • Demos

    • Retrospectives

  • Assist in defining Acceptance Criteria and Definition of Done (DoD)

  • Support the TA team in automating relevant test cases and analyzing automation results


Technical Qualifications

  • iCargo product testing

  • Strong manual testing capabilities
