Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Associate – Real Assets to manage client books, post journal entries, and prepare financial statements at the asset, investment, and portfolio level.
Key Responsibilities
???? Accounting & Financial Management
✔ Maintain client books and post journal entries.
✔ Prepare and review Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
✔ Maintain cash books and reconcile with bank transactions.
✔ Track property review accounting, including Net Assets, Operating Income, Depreciation, and Rent Calculation.
✔ Ensure GAAP to NAV reconciliation and provide variance analysis.
✔ Manage Deferred Revenue Cost schedule and accounting.
✔ Maintain books for various entities (both Book Side and Market Side).
✔ Assist in audit queries and financial reporting.
???? Fund Accounting & Compliance
✔ Calculate Fund Net Asset Values (NAVs).
✔ Prepare and review schedules for Equity Capital, Subscription, and Redemption.
✔ Handle Distributions and Profit Distribution for Venture Capital.
✔ Account for Debt Valuation and Asset Revaluation.
✔ Work with IFRS and USGAAP compliance.
???? Additional Responsibilities
✔ Provide training and support to new joiners.
✔ Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with industry standards.
✔ Any other duties as required by the company.
Qualifications & Requirements
???? Education:
✔ Graduate / Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a Professional Accounting Qualification (CA, CWA, CA Inter, CWA Inter, or equivalent).
???? Experience:
✔ 7–8 years of experience in financial services, private equity, asset management, or fund administration.
✔ Strong knowledge of IFRS and USGAAP.
✔ Experience in general ledger preparation and financial statements.
✔ Real estate/private equity fund experience with exposure to complex fund structures, waterfall computations, and preferred returns.
???? Skills & Tools:
✔ Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
✔ Working knowledge of Investran/Oracle (preferred).
✔ Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
