About the Enterprise Account Management Team

Mixpanel’s Enterprise Account Management team is responsible for managing top global customers, contributing to 25% of the company’s global ARR.

Primary Focus:

  • Ensuring a smooth onboarding experience
  • Driving adoption and engagement
  • Identifying growth opportunities
  • Managing renewals and upsells
  • Working with the Customer Success Architect (CSA) team

About the Role: Enterprise Account Manager

???? Experience: 7+ years in quota-carrying roles
???? Industry Expertise: SaaS, analytics, or enterprise sales
???? Revenue Responsibility: Managing accounts with $1M+ ARR and a $5M+ net retention quota

Key Responsibilities

Account Management: Serve as the single point of contact for strategic enterprise accounts
Customer Success Collaboration: Work closely with a dedicated CSA to maximize client value
Strategic Account Planning: Develop & implement custom account strategies
Executive Engagement: Leverage Executive Sponsors for business reviews & long-term partnerships
Industry Analysis: Continuously monitor customer industries to identify opportunities & risks
Expansion & Upsells: Identify and close growth opportunities within existing accounts
Renewals & Negotiations: Manage end-to-end renewal execution and contract negotiations
Business Forecasting: Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) & strategic account planning
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product, Legal, Sales Engineering, and Professional Services
Competitive Positioning: Stay updated on competitor offerings & market trends to advise clients effectively


Who We're Looking For

Experience in SaaS sales as an Account Manager, Account Executive, or similar role
Proven track record of managing $250K+ sales opportunities from discovery to closure
Net retention management of $5M+ book of business, with $1M+ ARR accounts
Technical expertise to engage with Engineering, Product, and Design teams
Strong communication & leadership skills, with the ability to present to C-suite executives
Adaptability & resilience in a fast-changing environment
Ownership & accountability for personal and team success

Bonus Points For:
⭐ Experience managing relationships with fast-growing tech companies
⭐ Knowledge of Mixpanel, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or Amplitude
⭐ Prior experience in customer-facing technical roles (Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Customer Success)
