Mixpanel’s Enterprise Account Management team is responsible for managing top global customers, contributing to 25% of the company’s global ARR.
✅ Primary Focus:
???? Experience: 7+ years in quota-carrying roles
???? Industry Expertise: SaaS, analytics, or enterprise sales
???? Revenue Responsibility: Managing accounts with $1M+ ARR and a $5M+ net retention quota
✅ Account Management: Serve as the single point of contact for strategic enterprise accounts
✅ Customer Success Collaboration: Work closely with a dedicated CSA to maximize client value
✅ Strategic Account Planning: Develop & implement custom account strategies
✅ Executive Engagement: Leverage Executive Sponsors for business reviews & long-term partnerships
✅ Industry Analysis: Continuously monitor customer industries to identify opportunities & risks
✅ Expansion & Upsells: Identify and close growth opportunities within existing accounts
✅ Renewals & Negotiations: Manage end-to-end renewal execution and contract negotiations
✅ Business Forecasting: Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) & strategic account planning
✅ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product, Legal, Sales Engineering, and Professional Services
✅ Competitive Positioning: Stay updated on competitor offerings & market trends to advise clients effectively
✅ Experience in SaaS sales as an Account Manager, Account Executive, or similar role
✅ Proven track record of managing $250K+ sales opportunities from discovery to closure
✅ Net retention management of $5M+ book of business, with $1M+ ARR accounts
✅ Technical expertise to engage with Engineering, Product, and Design teams
✅ Strong communication & leadership skills, with the ability to present to C-suite executives
✅ Adaptability & resilience in a fast-changing environment
✅ Ownership & accountability for personal and team success
