Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Attend to all emergencies as required.
- Consult with patients and analyze patient data to determine needs and treatment goals.
- Examine patients to diagnose musculoskeletal issues, including diseases and injuries affecting bones, joints, and ligaments.
- Collaborate with other specialists when necessary to determine the best course of treatment.
- Maintain detailed records of patient care, including consultation notes, prescribed treatments, and test results.
- Administer general and local anesthetics when necessary.
- Perform surgical procedures such as bone plating, tendon and ligament reattachment, and joint or hip replacements.
- Prescribe medication to aid recovery and manage post-surgical pain.
- Refer patients to physical therapy when necessary or conduct non-invasive treatments like casting and splinting.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Provide long-term support and advice to patients.
- Conduct research on musculoskeletal defects, diseases, and disorders.
