The platform will provide personalized, self-paced learning experiences for students and efficient tools for educators. Currently in development, our product seeks to address real-world educational challenges, particularly within the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) framework.

Job Role: Educational Technology Consultant/Advisor

Job Experience: 8-10 years
Qualification: Master’s Degree

We are seeking an experienced Educational Technology Consultant/Advisor with a strong background in instructional design and significant experience working with CBSE schools. This role will focus on evaluating our platform, identifying current educational challenges, suggesting enhancements, and driving early adoption through collaboration with schools and educators.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our technical team and the education sector, providing critical insights to ensure our product effectively meets the needs of students and educators within the CBSE system.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Evaluation and Validation:

• Usability Assessment: Test the platform’s interface and functionalities for both students and educators.

• Needs Analysis: Evaluate how well the product addresses the specific needs and challenges of CBSE schools.

• Feedback Provision: Provide detailed reports with strengths, weaknesses, and actionable recommendations.

2. Identifying Current Educational Challenges:

• Research and Analysis: Investigate issues such as personalized learning gaps, assessment limitations, and resource accessibility within the CBSE system.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct interviews and surveys with CBSE educators, administrators, and students.

• Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on educational trends, instructional strategies, and technological advancements relevant to CBSE schools.

3. Suggesting Product Enhancements:

• Instructional Design Implementation: Apply instructional design principles to improve content and delivery methods.

• Feature Development: Propose new features or modifications to address identified challenges.

• Content Strategy: Advise on content creation aligned with CBSE standards and best practices.

• Compliance Assurance: Ensure the product adheres to CBSE educational policies and guidelines.

4. Facilitating Early Adoption:

• Pilot Programs: Coordinate with CBSE schools to implement pilot projects for testing and feedback.

• Networking: Use existing relationships to introduce the product to key decision-makers in schools.

• Marketing Support: Assist in developing strategies to promote the product to schools and educators.

5. Guiding Strategic Direction:

• Roadmap Development: Collaborate with the team to create a strategic plan for product development specific to the CBSE context.

• Risk Management: Identify potential obstacles and develop mitigation strategies.

• Continuous Improvement: Establish mechanisms for ongoing product evaluation based on user feedback.

Qualifications:

• Degree: Master’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, or Educational Technology.

• CBSE Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the CBSE curriculum, assessment methods, and policies.

Experience:

• Minimum of 8-10 years working directly with CBSE schools in roles like educator, instructional designer, curriculum developer, administrator, or consultant.

• Extensive experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and educational technology within the CBSE framework.

• Proven track record in providing consultancy services to educational institutions or EdTech companies focused on CBSE education.

Skills and Competencies:

• Instructional Design Expertise: Proficiency in applying instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy).

• Analytical Skills: Ability to assess product usability and alignment with CBSE educational needs.

• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Innovative Thinking: Creative in proposing solutions and instructional strategies.

• Project Management: Skilled at managing projects with clear objectives and timelines.
