Job Summary:

The Student Advisor will support students who have started but not completed their loan applications. The role involves reaching out to assist students in resubmitting applications, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating with B2B partners when necessary. The advisor must meet monthly resubmission targets while offering supportive help to students.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Student Outreach & Support:

    • Contact students with incomplete or rejected loan applications and assist them in resubmitting.

    • Diagnose application challenges and guide students step-by-step through the process.

  2. Partner Coordination & Collaboration:

    • Work with B2B partners to ensure effective communication and support for students who are connected with them.

    • Liaise with partners to offer students the best guidance based on their existing relationships.

  3. Target Achievement & Performance:

    • Meet monthly resubmission targets by engaging students and addressing barriers to completion.

    • Track daily performance and adapt outreach strategies as needed to meet objectives.

  4. Documentation & Reporting:

    • Document all interactions, outcomes, and partner coordination in CRM tools.

    • Prepare daily and weekly reports on engagement, application status, and resubmission metrics for management.

  5. Data Security & Compliance:

    • Maintain confidentiality of student information and ensure compliance with data policies.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Resubmission Success Rate – Percentage of successful application resubmissions.

  • Partner Engagement Effectiveness – Rate of successful outcomes with B2B partners.

  • First-Contact Resolution Rate – Percentage of issues resolved on the first outreach.

  • Monthly Target Completion – Performance against monthly resubmission targets.


Equipment Requirements:

  • Laptop with adequate processing power for CRM and data management.

  • Android Smartphone with call recording feature for quality and compliance.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1+ years in customer service, account management, or application support (preferably in financial services or education).

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication and active listening, with an empathetic approach.

  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.

  • Target-Oriented Approach: Proven success in meeting performance targets.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), and Android call-recording software.
