Job Description – Senior Consultant, AI/ML
AWS Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) Professional Services (ProServe) is seeking a Senior Consultant, AI/ML for its Technology & Industry team. In this role, you will help customers build and migrate AWS-based data-driven business workloads, supporting them from ideation to deployment and operations.
As a business-oriented AI/ML practitioner, you will be responsible for pre-sales support, solution delivery, and hands-on AI/ML implementation. You will work closely with AWS sales leaders, technical teams, and industry stakeholders to design and deliver enterprise-level AI/ML solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Innovation & AI/ML Strategy
✅ Collaborate with customer technology and business stakeholders to develop a compelling AI/ML vision.
✅ Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and support AWS ProServe delivery teams in executing AI/ML engagements.
2. Pre-Sales & Executive-Level Engagement
✅ Deliver executive-level presentations on AI/ML solutions at scale in the Cloud.
✅ Work with AWS sales leaders to scope, pitch, and win new AI/ML engagements.
3. Domain Leadership & Thought Leadership
✅ Develop new AI/ML offerings and identify key industry trends across APJ.
✅ Share real-world AI/ML implementations and provide feedback for AWS product innovations.
4. Knowledge Transfer & Upskilling
✅ Train and mentor AWS ProServe developers in APJ on existing AI/ML solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
✅ 10+ years of experience in AI/ML consulting, data-driven solutions, and cloud strategy
✅ Proven track record of formulating long-term AI/ML strategies and executing complex programs
✅ Hands-on experience with AI/ML workloads and enterprise-level solution implementations
✅ Strong pre-sales and executive-level presentation skills
✅ Expertise in cloud computing, hybrid, and multicloud environments
✅ Business intelligence, data analytics, and automation experience
✅ Experience in large-scale AI/ML delivery, data management, and scalable automation
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)
✔ Pre-sales consulting experience
✔ Experience in Financial Services (FSI) or Telecommunications
✔ AWS Cloud Certifications
✔ Familiarity with AWS Services and Cloud Architecture
