Role Overview: Corporate Travel Advisor (Traveler Counselor)

As a Traveler Counselor, you will deliver exceptional travel service experiences to our corporate business clients. This is a high-touch, service-focused role where you will provide innovative travel solutions while improving supplier revenue. Working as part of a high-performing team, you will ensure superior customer care, resolve travel needs promptly, and consistently offer high-quality service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Travel Planning:

    • Act as a Travel Advisor for corporate accounts, handling domestic and international travel needs.
    • Arrange travel services including air, rail, and hotel accommodations using the Saber Global Distribution System (GDS).
    • Offer consultative advice, recommendations, and innovative solutions to travelers.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including completing training and adhering to all company policies.
  • Client Support:

    • Provide exceptional traveler care through phone, email, and other communication platforms.
    • Manage end-to-end booking processes, including ticketing and order fulfillment.
    • Proactively resolve traveler issues and ensure a seamless travel experience.
  • Operational Excellence:

    • Meet key performance indicators such as client satisfaction (CSAT) and supplier partnerships.
    • Monitor personal/team performance metrics and seek opportunities to enhance performance.
    • Mentor and coach junior team members as needed.
    • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity when handling sensitive traveler information.
  • Adaptability & Collaboration:

    • Work effectively in a multi-channel service environment while adapting to a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
    • Act as a team player, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
    • Stay up-to-date on travel trends and industry standards, ensuring a high level of service delivery.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience & Skills:

    • In-depth understanding of fares, ticketing rules, and exchange procedures for air and hotel travel.
    • Hands-on experience with Saber GDS (preferred).
    • Background in business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservations.
    • Proven ability to work in a performance-measured, high-touch service environment.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and a process-improvement mindset.
    • Ability to multitask, adapt quickly to changes, and manage stress effectively.
    • Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
  • Other Requirements:

    • Passion for the travel industry and customer excellence.
    • Knowledge of travel trends and industry-standard processes.
