Pay Range: ₹18,000 - ₹35,000 per month (including incentives and commissions)

Merry Christmas is a B2C platform specializing in selling domestic and international holiday and honeymoon packages. We aim to create memorable travel experiences for our customers by offering customized itineraries tailored to their preferences and budget.


Role Overview

The Travel Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling holiday packages to walk-in customers and online inquiries. The role involves crafting personalized itineraries, building strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets through consistent follow-ups.

Work Location: Madurai

Travel Preference: A strong inclination for travel is a bonus.

Experience Required: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience is mandatory.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales and Promotion

    • Sell outbound holiday packages for domestic and international destinations.
    • Respond to walk-in and online inquiries, converting leads into sales.
    • Consistently achieve individual sales targets through follow-ups and relationship-building.
  2. Itinerary Planning

    • Design customized itineraries based on client preferences and budgets.
    • Provide destination-specific information to enhance the travel experience for clients.
  3. Customer Engagement

    • Build strong, lasting relationships by understanding client travel interests and needs.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Handle challenging customer conversations with politeness and professionalism.
  4. Market Awareness and Reporting

    • Stay updated on trends in the travel industry, including competitor activities.
    • Provide sales, revenue, and expense reports to management, along with forecasts.
    • Report on client needs, competitive activities, and potential opportunities for new services.
  5. Collaboration and Coordination

    • Work closely with other departments and team members to coordinate sales efforts.
    • Suggest improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.

Requirements

  • Industry Knowledge:

    • In-depth understanding of the travel industry, destinations, airlines, and traveler needs.
    • Knowledge of destination-specific attractions and travel regulations.
  • Skills:

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
    • Ability to think creatively when pitching destinations to clients.
    • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills for handling customer inquiries and issues.
  • Experience:

    • Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality, tourism sales, operations, or sales management.
    • Prior experience in a travel-related role is mandatory.
  • Qualifications:

    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in travel, hospitality, tourism, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Pay: ₹18,000 - ₹35,000 per month
  • Supplemental Pay:
