Job Details:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Location: Puducherry, Puducherry
- Pay: ₹10,000 - ₹18,000 per month
- Schedule: Day shift, Weekend availability
- Supplemental Pay: Commission pay
Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Female Travel Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest and knowledge in domestic and international travel destinations, attractions, and industry trends. Training will be provided if there is no prior experience.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Service
- Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
- Understand client preferences, budgets, and requirements to offer personalized travel options.
2. Travel Planning
- Create customized travel itineraries covering flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
- Ensure smooth and efficient arrangements for all travel components.
3. Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on travel trends, visa requirements, travel insurance, and tour packages.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
4. Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with clients, travel partners, hotels, airlines, and service providers.
- Negotiate favorable rates and secure exclusive travel deals.
5. Problem Resolution
- Serve as the primary contact for clients during travel, assisting with modifications, concerns, or emergencies.
- Provide immediate solutions to ensure a seamless travel experience.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in tourism or a similar role (preferred).
- Strong knowledge/interest in domestic and international travel.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to build long-term client relationships.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays as required.
- Additional language proficiency is a plus.
Mandatory Skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Word & Excel
- Good communication and writing skills in English
Additional Information
- Ability to commute/relocate: Candidates must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
- Working Days: Saturdays are working days; candidates must confirm their availability.
