Job Overview
As a Travel Consultant, you will assist customers in booking vacation packages, primarily focusing on Fixed Departures and Group Packages for Europe and other long-haul destinations. You will be responsible for providing cost-effective travel solutions, managing bookings, and ensuring seamless travel experiences for clients.
Key Responsibilities
???? Sales & Operations
- Handle Fixed Departures/Group Package sales for Europe & other destinations.
- Provide quotes, cost-effective travel options, and complete bookings for transportation, lodging, sightseeing, and other travel-related activities.
???? Customer Assistance & Support
- Address traveler inquiries and offer customized packages based on their needs.
- Assist with visa processing, flight ticketing, and pre-trip formalities.
- Manage customer escalations and provide effective resolutions post-booking.
???? Post-Sales Operations
- Handle post-sales file operations, invoicing, and documentation.
- Ensure smooth execution of tour packages.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets to generate revenue.
???? Tour Planning & Booking Management
- Create custom itineraries, tour costing, and hotel bookings.
- Make reservations for flights, hotels, and other travel-related services.
- Ensure a hassle-free experience for travelers.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
✔ Interpersonal & Communication Skills – Excellent verbal & written communication.
✔ Sales & Customer Service Passion – Strong ability to sell and assist customers.
✔ Knowledge of European Destinations – Preferred but not mandatory.
✔ Experience in Fixed Departure Packages – A big plus!
✔ Familiarity with Online Travel Booking – Preferred but not mandatory.
✔ Education in Travel & Tourism – Beyond high school is a plus.
