We are hiring for a leading Freight Forwarding Company in Gurugram for the position of Air Freight Pricing Manager (Exports). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing air freight pricing strategies for exports, negotiating competitive rates with airlines, and maintaining profitability while nurturing strong relationships within the industry.
Key Responsibilities

Export Air Cargo Pricing:

Develop, implement, and optimize competitive air freight pricing strategies for exports.

Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and industry developments to create the best rate structures.

Collaborate with sales and operations teams to deliver tailored pricing solutions for clients.

Air Export Rate Negotiation:

Negotiate competitive air freight rates with airlines, GSAs, and co-loaders.

Ensure that the pricing is cost-effective while maintaining service quality and profitability.

Provide timely and accurate quotations to internal teams and customers.

Airline Contract Negotiation:

Build and maintain strong relationships with airline partners.

Negotiate long-term contracts with airlines to secure stable and competitive pricing.

Analyze airline performance, space availability, and pricing trends to drive procurement decisions.

Key Requirements

Experience: Minimum 8+ years in air freight pricing and export operations within the freight forwarding industry.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of international air cargo operations, airline contracts, and freight rate structures.

Skills: Proven ability to negotiate with airlines and secure competitive export rates.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and freight management systems.

Other Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of total experience, with at least 5 years of airline contract negotiation experience.
