Job Description

The Travel Sales Executive will be responsible for employing effective sales strategies to maximize conversion rates by offering deals to travel agencies over email and phone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategies: Utilize effective sales strategies to convert travel agency leads via email and phone.

  • Flight Ticketing: Handle flight ticketing, changes, EMD issuance, cancellations, and refunds efficiently.

  • Flight Product Knowledge: Stay updated on flight product knowledge and ensure accuracy to prevent revenue leakage.

  • Fare Types and Policies: Apply comprehensive knowledge of fare types, airline policies, and geography.

  • GDS Systems: Use Galileo and Amadeus for booking and transaction management.

  • Billing and Refunds: Ensure timely transaction billing and issue Refund Credit Notes in compliance with client-agreed commercials, airline policies, and regulatory standards.

  • Customer Service: Employ positive telephone service techniques and address special customer requests.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to provide coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback to improve service levels.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 3-6 years in the travel industry.

  • GDS Expertise: Native GDS expertise in Amadeus & Galileo and LCC portals.

  • Client Service Passion: A strong passion for providing excellent client service, anticipating client needs from a travel agency perspective.

  • Communication Skills: Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in flight bookings and customer transactions.

  • Integrity: Strong integrity when handling personal traveler information.

  • B2B Travel Knowledge: Solid understanding of the B2B travel industry, especially in providing ticketing solutions to travel agent partners.

  • Problem Resolution: Ability to resolve customer issues independently or in collaboration with suppliers.

  • Collaboration: A collaborative spirit with an openness to feedback.
