Position Overview:
The UAX Technical Operations team provides comprehensive oversight of all technical activities at UAX flying partners. The analyst will work closely with partners to ensure safe, dependable, and competitive operations. This role involves both strategic and tactical responsibilities, primarily focusing on tracking engine life cycle utilization, asset management, and supporting maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor engine life cycle utilization and long-term engine fleet projections.
-
Maintain monthly engine fleet utilization tables and track spares and removals.
-
Track all asset transactions, including sales, leases, and records.
-
Coordinate with Finance and Commercial teams to support maintenance activities (budget/forecast).
-
Generate reports and presentations for leadership related to ongoing technical operations initiatives.
-
Compile and track open warranties, insurance claims, maintenance trends, and USM part purchases.
-
Assist in preparing operational reports for the morning Operations Debrief Calls.
-
Provide analytical support for other TechOps functions as needed.
Qualifications:
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant work experience.
-
Fields of Study: Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering.
-
Experience: 3-4 years of experience in aviation, aviation maintenance, or related analytical fields.
-
Strong knowledge of aircraft systems.
-
Understanding of aircraft fleet health and/or reliability programs.
-
Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint.
-
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
-
Ability to manipulate and analyze high-volume data.
-
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred:
-
Master’s degree.
-
Prior airline/aviation experience.
-
Familiarity with SQL and data visualization/reporting tools.
-
Ability to design and track meaningful operational metrics.
