Job Summary:

Odyssey Logistics Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to manage air import operations and provide excellent customer service. The role involves coordinating with airlines, customs authorities, and internal teams to ensure timely cargo movement and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

Air Import Operations:

✅ Oversee the entire air import process, from booking to final delivery.
✅ Coordinate with airlines, overseas agents, and vendors for shipment updates.
✅ Ensure timely submission of import documentation (Airway Bill, Packing List, Commercial Invoice, etc.).
✅ Work with customs brokers to facilitate smooth and timely cargo clearance.
✅ Track shipments and proactively communicate delays or issues to clients.
✅ Maintain compliance with international import regulations and company policies.

Customer Service & Coordination:

✅ Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding shipments.
✅ Provide timely and accurate updates on shipment movements and arrivals.
✅ Address customer complaints, delays, and inquiries efficiently.
✅ Work closely with internal teams (finance, warehouse) to ensure seamless service delivery.

Documentation & Compliance:

✅ Verify and process import documents as per regulatory requirements.
✅ Ensure accurate data entry in freight management and tracking systems.
✅ Stay updated on air cargo regulations, customs duties, and import laws.
✅ Maintain organized records for audit and compliance purposes.


Key Skills & Qualifications:

???? Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
???? Experience: 2+ years in air import operations or freight forwarding.
???? Knowledge: Strong understanding of air freight forwarding, customs clearance, and shipping documentation.
???? Skills: Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
