Job Summary

As an HR Business Partner, you will act as the primary point of contact for ILM’s professionals, serving as the bridge between Human Resources and Business Leaders. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will work across various ILM client groups, bringing a strategic and consultative approach to HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
✔ Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with HRBP teams and leadership to drive strategic HR initiatives.
- Develop a deep business understanding and provide creative HR solutions to address business priorities.
- Advise on headcount/resource management and collaborate with recruitment teams for effective talent acquisition.
- Encourage engagement in talent processes, including talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development.
✔ Employee Relations & Performance Management
- Provide performance management guidance to leadership (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Work closely with Directors, Managers, and Employees to improve work relationships, morale, and retention.
- Support the integrated salary planning process, ensuring timely and accurate execution with Compensation teams.
✔ Learning & Development
- Collaborate with the Learning & Development team to co-facilitate employee training programs.
- Assist in employee communications (content design & input).
- Participate in special HR projects at both the HRBP team and client level.
✔ HR Operations & Compliance
- Guide clients on HR processes, policies, and best practices.
- Manage multiple priorities efficiently in a matrixed environment.
- Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to implement HR initiatives and compliance programs.
Required Skills & Experience
✔ Education & Experience
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience.
- 3+ years of progressive HR generalist experience, supporting diverse functional groups, including executives.
- Experience working in a large, corporate, matrixed environment.
✔ Technical & Business Skills
- Strong business acumen with the ability to assimilate new information quickly.
- Experience with HR facets, including organization development, employee relations, talent acquisition, L&D, and compensation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Forms).
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend HR solutions.
✔ Soft Skills & Leadership
- Strong consulting and conflict management skills.
- Ability to build trusted relationships across all organizational levels.
- Proven experience influencing senior executives in an “influence-without-authority” role.
- Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities with grace and efficiency.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration in a matrixed leadership environment.
