About the Role

Due to growing demand in our Functional Service Provision (FSP) team, we are looking for an experienced and skilled Programmer with strong CDISC expertise. The ideal candidate should have QC expertise in ADaMs and TLFs, solid SDTM knowledge, and experience working independently with clients.

This role provides an opportunity to work directly with pharmaceutical clients, offering exposure to high-level projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities

Programming & Validation

Program and validate datasets and SDTMs, including complex efficacy and lab datasets.
✔ Develop complex non-efficacy outputs/figures.
✔ Perform Senior Review and Quality Control (QC) of statistical and non-statistical outputs.
✔ Participate in the development and maintenance of Phastar’s standard macro library.
✔ Validate and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on standard macros.

Standards & Compliance

Create, QC, and update dataset specifications (including efficacy datasets) for multiple studies.
✔ Ensure adherence to CDISC, SDTM, ADaM, and define.xml standards.
✔ Keep up to date with regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
✔ Implement and coordinate CRT tool development and maintenance.

Client & Project Management

✔ Act as a Lead Programmer on multiple studies, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
✔ Liaise with the Study Statistician and Project Manager regarding resources and deliverables.
✔ Serve as the primary point of contact for programming issues, ensuring smooth team coordination.
Persuade stakeholders to follow best practices in clinical trials.
✔ Provide technical consultancy, advice, and training to team members.

Process Improvement & Development

✔ Identify areas where new processes and SOPs are required.
✔ Create, review, and update SOPs and best practices.
✔ Develop and deliver company-wide training sessions as needed.
✔ Ensure adherence to Phastar’s quality control checklists.


Qualifications & Experience

???? Education:
BSc or higher in Mathematics, Science, IT, or a related field.

???? Work Experience:
Experience working on clinical trials within a CRO/pharmaceutical environment.
✔ Proven expertise in end-to-end programming, including SDTM, ADaM, and TLFs.
✔ Strong QC skills in ADaMs and TLFs with a solid understanding of SDTM.
✔ Ability to work independently, manage client coordination, and provide feedback on QC findings.
✔ Comfortable working autonomously with limited direct client interaction (client teams are US-based).
✔ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate issues proactively.

✔ Advanced SAS programming skills.
✔ Experience with CDISC compliance (SDTM, ADaM, define.xml).
✔ Strong data handling and validation expertise.
