???? Position Summary

As Senior Manager – Statistical Programming, you will lead programming teams and drive solutions for analyzing and reporting clinical data to support the development, regulatory approval, and global launch of BMS products. You will work cross-functionally within GBDS and with external vendors, and lead initiatives to enhance processes, manage change, and mentor team members.

This is a hybrid role, blending remote work with onsite collaboration as needed.


???? Key Responsibilities

✔️ Programming Leadership:

  • Lead clinical programming efforts for project teams and vendors.

  • Design, validate, and maintain complex programs (e.g., ADaM, TFLs, utilities).

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, BMS SOPs, and programming strategies.

  • Develop clear programming specifications and support electronic submission preparation.

✔️ Documentation & Communication:

  • Review key planning documents (e.g., SAP, DPP) and ensure alignment with project goals.

  • Proactively communicate programming assumptions, issues, and risks to stakeholders.

✔️ Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify and lead process/technology enhancements.

  • Support change management through training and stakeholder engagement.

✔️ People Management (if applicable):

  • Directly manage a team of up to 5 programmers.

  • Conduct performance evaluations, coaching, feedback sessions, and career development planning.

  • Ensure training compliance and project accountability.

  • Collaborate with leadership on recruitment and staff development strategies.


???? Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Life Sciences.

  • Minimum 8 years of industry experience in statistical programming, with experience in regulatory filings.

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Drug development and clinical trials

    • Regulatory guidance and CDISC standards (e.g., SDTM, ADaM)

    • SAS programming, MS Office, XML, Pinnacle 21

  • Proficiency in:

    • Handling upstream data (e.g., eDC, SDTM workflows)

    • Delivering downstream outputs (e.g., TFLs, e-submissions)

  • Proven team player with strong communication and leadership skills.
