About the Role

As a Ticketing Executive/Specialist, you will oversee and manage the ticketing process, ensuring customers receive accurate and timely travel tickets for their bookings. Your expertise in ticketing systems, problem resolution, and high service standards will enhance the customer experience and contribute to the smooth operation of ticketing services.


Key Responsibilities

???? Ticket Management

  • Handle ticket issuance, rebooking, and cancellations for flights, trains, events, and other transportation.
  • Ensure all ticketing is completed within deadlines and per company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of ticket sales, exchanges, and cancellations.
  • Assist customers in selecting the best travel options and provide clear guidance.

???? Customer Support

  • Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, and in person regarding travel schedules, routes, and pricing.
  • Address and resolve booking errors, cancellations, and refund requests with a customer-first approach.
  • Clearly communicate itinerary changes and ticket status updates.

???? Collaboration & Coordination

  • Work closely with travel agents, airlines, and vendors to ensure ticket accuracy and availability.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and operations to streamline ticketing processes.

???? Ticketing System Management

  • Utilize reservation systems like Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or similar for ticket booking and management.
  • Stay updated on software updates and provide troubleshooting support.
  • Maintain and update pricing, availability, and schedules for events and flights.

???? Cost & Payment Processing

  • Ensure accurate pricing of travel services and manage payment processing for ticket bookings.
  • Handle invoicing, receipts, and customer payment issues.

???? Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare regular reports on ticket sales, cancellations, and customer inquiries.
  • Organize and maintain ticketing documentation, including receipts, confirmations, and correspondence.

Skills & Experience Required

Experience: Minimum 1 year in a similar ticketing role in the travel industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ticketing systems (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or similar).
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of ticketing procedures for airlines, trains, and events.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-Solving: Quick thinker with a customer-focused approach.
Education: A degree in Travel & Tourism is preferred but not mandatory.
