Position Overview
As an IT Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the production servers and IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations across on-premises and cloud environments. This role involves server lifecycle management, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and collaborating with internal and third-party teams.
You will also document processes, train team members, and ensure adherence to cybersecurity and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Server Management
✔ Troubleshoot on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure issues.
✔ Ensure backup and recovery solutions are in place and functioning correctly.
✔ Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, LDAP, and Certificates.
✔ Handle job scheduling, system monitoring, and network services (DHCP, DNS, NTP, SMB/NFS, etc.).
✔ Administer VMWare and other virtualization tools.
✔ Provide logs and reports for advanced data analysis.
✔ Support testing, integration, and validation of proprietary applications.
Security & Compliance
✔ Implement solutions in accordance with cybersecurity policies and external audits.
✔ Work closely with the Security Team to ensure compliance with aviation and industry standards.
Cloud & Windows Server Administration
✔ Manage Microsoft Windows Server lifecycle from installation to decommissioning.
✔ Support and update on-premise & cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
✔ Assist in optimizing infrastructure efficiency and cost.
Collaboration & Documentation
✔ Work with incident and problem management teams to identify and resolve recurring issues.
✔ Maintain and distribute Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
✔ Provide training to internal teams on troubleshooting procedures and market best practices.
✔ Develop and maintain technical documentation for critical systems and processes.
✔ Participate in cross-functional projects with other teams.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience:
???? Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology OR 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience.
Technical Skills:
✔ Strong experience with Windows Server Administration & Active Directory.
✔ Expertise in VMWare, Microsoft Azure, and AWS.
✔ Knowledge of storage solutions (MSA, 3PAR, Synology, etc.).
✔ Proficiency in network services (DNS, DHCP, NTP, LDAP).
✔ Experience in server security, job scheduling, and process automation.
Preferred Certifications (Nice to Have):
✅ ITIL v4 Foundations
✅ MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert)
Soft Skills:
✔ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
✔ Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
✔ Ability to prioritize tasks under pressure and meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements
✔ Ability to lift and carry at least 25 pounds.
✔ Must be able to test and replace PC components using hand tools.
✔ Perform repetitive motions (hands, wrists, fingers) up to 40% of the workday.
Special Requirements
???? On-call availability and remote support during off-hours and weekends as per schedule.
