The Hans Foundation (THF), established in 2009, is a Public Charitable Trust working towards creating an equitable society by enhancing the quality of life for marginalized and underprivileged communities in India. THF focuses on Health and Well-being, particularly for remote and underserved populations, including children, persons with disabilities, and women. The foundation also works in holistic Education and Livelihood development. THF's strategy includes working in Aspirational Districts in North, North-East, and East India, as well as addressing lower-income and migratory populations in urban areas. Over 15 years, THF has impacted over 35 million beneficiaries through its programs.
The Hans Wellness Centre (Health Services for Students) aims to improve the mental and physical well-being of school students. Medical professionals are crucial to achieving the intended impact of this project. THF has initiated this program in 54 schools across Delhi NCR, ensuring better physical, mental, and social well-being for school-age children. The initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goals, promoting healthy lives and inclusive, quality education.
Location: Delhi NCR
Type of Employment: Contractual (renewable based on project requirements)

Reporting to: Medical Officer from THF, Nodal Teacher/Principal in the School
Key Considerations for Applicants:
Ideal candidates are passionate about social impact and ready to face grassroots challenges.
Limited school resources require a “Can Do It” attitude.
Work conditions will be different from private/government clinics, with fewer facilities.
Provide primary health care services in schools.
Supervise daily operations of the health center.
Collaborate with ANM for patient referrals and medical assessments.
Refer critical cases to higher medical centers.
Conduct health awareness programs for students and the community.
Monitor trends in communicable and non-communicable diseases.
Inspect and ensure the viability of medical equipment.
Enforce protocols and quality systems.
Maintain patient confidentiality.
Attend periodic review meetings with the THF team.
Train and build the capacity of team members.
Maintain digital health records (update the app regularly).
Conduct home visits for students as per project manager’s instructions.
Prepare documentation, including monthly reports, progress updates, and case studies.
Oversee smooth operations of the clinic with the support of a Fellow (MTW) and administrative staff.
Verify invoices against prescriptions and coordinate with medical/pharmacy representatives.
Undertake additional duties assigned by THF management.

Educational Qualifications:
MBBS degree required.
Functional & Technical Skills:
2-3 years of experience in public health programs, preferably in paediatrics.
Strong team management skills.
Proficiency in Hindi and English.
Registered with the National Medical Council or State Medical Council.
Prior experience in social development/community-based projects preferred.
Monday – Saturday
08:00 AM – 04:00 PM (subject to change; 8-hour duty)
