Key Responsibilities:
1. Business & Financials:
✔ Achieve set targets for Housing Loan (HL) – Secured Loans through open market acquisition and existing customer conversions.
✔ Maintain a prospect database, meet select prospects, and manage relationships.
✔ Follow up on leads from the call center/liabilities team within the defined Turnaround Time (TAT).
✔ Cross-sell other Ujjivan products and pass quality leads to respective officers/staff.
✔ Share customer insights and product-related feedback with the Cluster Manager – HL.
✔ Coordinate with the Products & Marketing team for marketing drives and HL secured loan catchment strategies.
2. Customer Interaction:
✔ Maintain a professional and courteous approach while interacting with customers.
✔ Conduct appraisals of potential customers while ensuring loan quality.
✔ Guarantee confidentiality of all customer information.
3. Internal Process & Compliance:
✔ Manage pre and post-loan activities for Unsecured Loans and adhere to defined TATs.
✔ Perform financial analysis and present loan applications to the sanctioning committee.
✔ Conduct business and home visits for assessment and evaluation of customers.
✔ Assess risks, repayment capacity, and recommend adequate loan amounts.
✔ Visit guarantors/collateral contacts and explain their role in the loan process.
✔ Cooperate with the credit department to resolve discrepancies.
✔ Inform customers about the Credit Committee’s decisions.
✔ Coordinate with the Liabilities Team for bank account activation and loan disbursements.
✔ Perform loan utilization checks and follow up on disbursed loans, especially for overdue accounts.
✔ Assist in loan recovery efforts and coordinate with the Collections Officer to update loan status.
4. Learning & Innovation:
✔ Stay updated on Unsecured Loan products and other banking services.
✔ Provide market intelligence on customer demand and competition to the Branch Head.
✔ Ensure mandatory training attendance and completion of required training man-days.
✔ Complete goal setting, mid-year reviews, and performance appraisals within the given timelines.
