Job Overview
We are looking for a Team Lead – Operations (Reconciliation) with 5-7 years of experience to manage bank MIS reconciliation, fund matching, and escrow account operations. The role requires coordination with banks, tracking transactions, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Bank Reconciliation & Funds Matching
- Reconcile Bank MIS data with system records on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Match funds received with corresponding transactions.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies by coordinating with banks and internal teams.
✔ Escrow Account Management
- Monitor and reconcile escrow accounts daily.
- Provide day-end summaries to the accounting team for accurate journal entries.
- Ensure proper fund allocation and perform age analysis of funds.
✔ Transaction & Exception Management
- Track refund transactions to avoid discrepancies.
- Investigate settlement discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.
- Escalate technical or transactional issues for quick resolution.
✔ Operational Reporting & Compliance
- Maintain and update various operational trackers.
- Ensure timely monthly and quarterly reporting submissions.
- Stay updated on processes and guidelines through relevant resources.
Candidate Requirements
✔ Experience & Background
- 5-7 years of experience in Operations, Reconciliation, Settlements, and Exception Management.
✔ Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical skills and ability to handle large data sets.
- Proficiency in advanced MS Excel.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
- Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
