Full job description
We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Telecounsellor to assist patients with their healthcare needs over the phone. Your role will involve providing information, offering emotional support, scheduling appointments, and helping patients understand treatment plans or health programs. You’ll be the voice of care and trust for our healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, regarding health queries, services, or appointments.
- Provide basic counselling and emotional support, especially in times of distress or health crises.
- Explain health services, treatment packages, or wellness programs in a clear and reassuring manner.
- Assist patients in booking appointments, tests, consultations, or follow-ups.
- Follow up with patients for reminders, reports, or treatment adherence.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of all interactions in the system.
- Escalate medical queries to appropriate healthcare professionals when needed.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and admin teams for smooth patient care delivery.
